Runners are a great way to add some color and interest to your table while using a tablecloth that you already own. You want your runner to hang down about 8″ -12″ off the table’s edge.Just measure the table length or the diameter of your table and add 20″ (10″drop per end) to get the ideal size. We make our runners with square ends giving you more flexibility should you add a leaf. Remember the runner should never hang longer than the tablecloth. You can also have a smaller runner lay only on the tabletop but make sure that it does not extend into the place setting at the ends of the table. Another wonderful runner effect is to use two runners down either side of the table creating a place mat effect under each place setting. Have fun. Mix and patch patterns of the runner and tablecloth fabric.
